Time Out says

There's a modern-British slant to the food menu at this casual City bistro on Swithins Lane, though some Iberian touches do make their presence felt. It's the sister venue to The Don restaurant next door - a proper stalwart of this part of town. Expect pedigree here, then.

Dishes range from smoked salmon, a soft-centre Scotch egg and Gloucester Old Spot pork cutlet with crackling to a foie gras crème brulée, a Galician fish pie and grilled octopus with padron peppers, chorizo and chickpeas. There's a Black Angus burger too, for those that want to remain on the bandwagon.

There's also a focus on wine. The list stretches to 21 pages, with bottles slanting toward classic old world regions. A good number available by the glass makes it accessible, but pricey options also feature - it's in the City, after all. Keep an eye out for lengthy gin and whisky selection, as well as bottled ale.
