This Bethnal Green delicatessen, cafe and restaurant is one of three Larders - there are others in Wanstead and Chingford. This one is billed as their 'vegetarian kitchen', with meat-free and vegan options available alongside a selection of coffees and a range of pastries and homemade cakes.
Dishes change on a daily basis but options such as satay tofu sticks, a split pea and butternut squash soup and polenta dumplings stuffed with goat's cheese appear regularly. Breakfasts are served until 11.30am, with lunches on offer throughout the afternoon. There are supper clubs on occasion, too.
Keep an eye out for organic bits and bobs from independent producers, with chocolates, jams, pasta and boxed items all on offer.
