There's a bright and breezy feel to this Fulham Road restaurant - a characteristic helped in no small part by the almost floor-to-ceiling windows curving around two sides of this old boozer of a building. The modern, attractive interior hides this pub past well.
Food is the focus these days. Breakfast options range from fresh fruit salads, omelettes and muesli with fresh fruit and yoghurt to cooked options, like a classic full English (here, a 'Chelsea breakfast'), bacon sandwiches, toast with spreads and teas - available in a cup or a mug, no less.
There's a lot of choice at lunch and dinner. Expect a long menu ranging from calamari fritti, bruschetta, fettuccini carbonara and a Nicoise salad to moussaka, steak and mushroom pie, burgers, liver and bacon, sirloin steak, Mexican chicken wraps and grilled cod Provençale. There are Sunday roasts, too.
