There's a sleek look to this Wandsworth Common restaurant. It proves a good setting for a menu bringing together French, Spanish and Italian cuisines - there's certainly plenty of culinary flexibility here.
That flexibility enables diners to go from French terrines, soufflés and foie gras with wood pigeon, black truffle, Sauternes jelly and plum compote to Spanish chorizo with scallops, pumpkin risotto, pan-fried cod with parma ham and linguine with pesto, grilled pepper, courgette and parmesan. There's a beef steak pie too, perhaps in concession to those palates of a less adventurous persuasion.
The wine list leans toward big-hitting old world regions, though Australia, Argentina and South Africa feature too.
