Branches of this popular Thai chain pop up all over London - this Covent Garden location is one of twelve across the capital. Expect a traditional ‘sawadee ka’ welcome into a small bar leading through to a vaulted dining room and a little courtyard garden out the back. Statuettes, ornaments and faux-pagoda roofing give it a Thai feel.
The menu focuses on Thai dishes, though popular pan-Asian options are included too. Expect, therefore, a menu that ranges from crispy aromatic duck and chicken satay to tom yum soups, som tum salads, green curries and talay ob mor din - prawns and scallops baked with glass noodles, black fungus, ginger, garlic and coriander root in a soy sauce.
A varied drinks list includes more than 30 wines alongside Singha Thai beer, classic cocktails and their own signature concoctions such as a mek-jito - a combination of Mekhong Thai spirit, lime juice, sugar syrup, fresh mint, ginger and soda. Keep an eye out for set menus and lunch offers, too.
