MiC’s cartoon villain Spencer Matthews may have been spotted here buying takeaway ‘peace offering juice’ (that’s a euphemism, not a real flavour), but don’t let that put you off. This raw food cafe within Chelsea’s MyHotel is a place for locals to keep their intestines – if not their morals – squeaky clean: it’s fully raw, vegan, and organic. The night-time lighting can be a tad bright, so come for daytime brunch or on a sunny eve, when you can sit outside in the bijoux back terrace, sipping on a cold-pressed juice, nut milk coffee or, (after 4pm) superfood cocktail. Snack on dehydrated corn chips with no-chickpea red pepper and almond ‘un-hummus’, and definitely try the kelp noodles with creamy, fragrant Thai curry (it's the best dish on the menu). Given the postcode, perhaps the nicest thing about Tanya’s is how sincere both staff and fellow diners are. Except that Spenny, of course.
