The sandwich kings of the street food scene, Sub Cult fill soft submarine rolls with incredible piles of flavour. While you're deliberating over the menu Ben and Gaz will wave tempting ingredients in your face in an attempt to make your decision easier. It won't work, because all of the options are great: the Sub-Marine and its alt-surf-and-turf piles of pulled pork, scallops, calamari and crackling; the Rodeo-Sub and its tender steak, truffle mayo and fiery pickled chilli; the Sub-Terranean and its rich mushrooms, roast garlic and punchy stilton. You even get to listen to old soul music while they make your order. Check @SubCultSubs on Twitter for their schedule, but they're usually at Maltby Street market, Brockley Market and Model Market on weekends, and Lower Marsh Market and Broadgate Circle on selected weekdays.
