Time Out says

Please note, Snazz Sichuan is now closed. Time Out Food & Drink Editors.

While more stylish purveyors of Sichuanese cuisine have risen to near cult status in Soho, Snazz Sichuan has continued to serve spicy and authentic dishes from China’s famous western province in the quieter neighbourhood around Euston. Since the restaurant opened a few years ago, the flavours have been slightly subdued – don’t be afraid to ask for lashings of chilli and mouth-numbing sichuan peppercorns. However, the ingredients, for spicy and numbing dishes, hotpots, and everything in between, continue to be uncompromisingly Sichuanese. Strange-flavoured rabbit remains a favourite, the meat drowning in a silky sauce of chilli and sesame oil. Fried pomfret was served with great fanfare in a dish weighed down by french fries, peanuts, and wonderfully crunchy lotus root. The bizarrely designed dining room, which purports to double as an art gallery, has photographs of old China and modern paintings lining the walls. Together with the chaotic but friendly service (if there’s a crowd, you’re in for a long meal), it is pleasingly reminiscent of lively restaurants in Beijing, so adding to the authenticity of the experience.
