Touching wood, hanging up horseshoes and picking four-leaf clovers – they're all things that can supposedly bring you good luck. But did you know that there are sorts of foods that supposedly bring you fortune and prosperity? Well, to coincide with the month of Lucky St Patrick, we’re showcasing a bevvy of lucky foods to order on Uber Eats.

In some eastern countries (such as China, Vietnam and Malaysia), long-pulled noodles represent long life, in Germany and Austria pork represents prosperity and ‘round’ foods symbolise a never-ending loop of good fortune in a few different cultures. Any excuse to order doughnuts, right?

Our food and drink editor, Leonie Cooper, has handpicked six fantastic dishes to order this March for when you want to amp up your luck. With just a tap of the app, you can order these (and many, many more) dishes from the capital’s best restaurants.

1. The Grapow, Dom’s Subs

Leonie says, ‘If you can handle spice, then this is the best sandwich in London, packed with Thai-style chicken, pickled cucumbers and carrots, chillies and crispy shallots. A legend of a sub.’

2. Tofu Bibimbap, Tasty Korea
