Pitched in the playground of London Fields Primary School, this is a smaller, ‘cooler’ (their words) cousin to nearby Broadway Market and Netil Market – although it packs a lot of good stuff into its limited one-day-a-week offer (Saturday, 9am-5.30pm). Steamed-bun kings Yum Bun were one of its early success stories, but others have also hit the jackpot here in recent times – especially The Frenchie (duck confit in brioche), Mr Musubi (Japanese rice snacks), London Laksa, Cheesecake GB and Mission Mariscos (Mexican-style fish tacos). There are usually around a dozen foodie stalls in among the arty-crafty pitches and fashion traders.
