A Persian restaurant at The Colonnade Hotel, in Maida Vale. Expect a menu of classic and contemporary Persian dishes alongside other Middle Eastern staples, a few accessible Mediterranean options and desserts influenced by cuisines from across the globe.
That means mezze platters of hummus, tzatziki and babaganoush served with roasted peppers and pitta bread, chicken olivieh, Middle Eastern and Mediterranean salads, gheimeh bademjan (lamb stew with sun-dried lime, tomato, baby aubergine and saffron rice) and bamieh (stewed okra with tomato, saffron, diced red peppers and saffron rice). Mushroom risotto, rib-eye steak and grilled salmon with hollandaise also feature.
Afternoon tea, set lunch menus, weekend brunches and a special Sunday menu are also available.
