This new Vietnamese restaurant takes over the site previously host to Busan - the popular Islington Korean that went, came back, and then went again. The room has been given a bit of a makeover, with Busan's minimalism replaced by a more industrial feel - think exposed ducts, bare brickwork and swooping filaments.
Bar the beef jerky in the green papaya salad, there are few surprises on the menu. Expect, then, summer rolls, Vietnamese chicken curry, shaking beef and bun cha - the popular traditional dish of grilled pork served over rice vermicelli noodles. Pho, unsurprisingly, is a speciality.
Hue, Saigon and Hanoi beers complement soft options such as Fentimans 'Seville Orange Jigger', some homemade lemonade and suitably sweet Vietnamese coffee.
