Time Out says

This popular Liverpool Street burger bar is the second Patty & Bun in London - we gave the original branch, over in Marylebone, a five star review. This branch brings the same pink and juicy burgers to a more suited-and-booted City crowd, though with Brick Lane around the corner you can expect a fair few trendies, too.

Burgers play the lead here, as you might expect. The signature 'ari gold' burger - a beef patty placed between a brioche bun with smokey house mayo, ketchup, pickled onions, cheese, lettuce and tomato - does brisk business. So does the 'smokey robinson' - the same as the signature patty and bun, but with caramelised onions replacing those that come pickled.

There's a veggie option too, comprising a field mushroom fritter, garlic parsley butter, cheese sauce, coleslaw, lettuce and tarragon mayo. Sides range from BBQ chicken wings and thighs served with a smoked jalapeno butter sauce to house 'slaw and fries with rosemary salt or roast chicken mayo and chicken skin salt.

Everything's available to take-away and there's a local delivery facility, too. Keep an eye out for regular specials, as well as breakfasts - served from 7.30am.
