Meraz Cafe is an east London stalwart - it's been serving Indian food from its location just off Brick Lane for almost 40 years.
The menu features plenty of recognisable curry house dishes, including the likes of tandoori lamb chops, pakora, samosas and mixed grills alongside biryanis, chicken kormas, lamb shaslick, tandoori trout and ceena shathkora - a dish where beef on the bone is cooked with a citrus fruit native to Bangladesh. Keep an eye out for daily specials, too.
There's no drinks license but diners are invited to bring their own bottles to drink at the table. Lassi options are also available.
