This neighbourhood steak joint in Islington is located in a 1920s Grade II-listed building complete with a tiled ceiling, wooden panelling and steel-framed windows. A few tables sit outside too, and look like they could be a draw when the sunshine hits.
Although the focus here is on steak (expect chateaubriands and flat-cuts to share alongside rib-eyes, fillets and bavettes from South America), the menu also extends to beef strogonoff, ox cheeks, flame-grilled rump of lamb, pork collar and even seared kangaroo. There's not a lot for those that don't eat meat.
A popular brunch menu also features.
