An authentic tapas joint on Wardour Street, Mas Q Menos specialises in jamón ibérico de bellota - ham from acorn-fed pigs roaming the dehesas of the Spanish and Portuguese borders. It's plated up on platters, served in sandwiches, layered on coca bread and mixed with salads, too.
It's not just about the high quality ham though. Expect to also see smoked cod served with tomato jam and olive pâté, beef carpaccio with parmesan cheese, and a goat cheese salad with cherry tomatoes, raisins, pine nuts and croutons, as well as various tinned items imported from Spain - including anchovies here served with a roasted red pepper sauce and black olives.
Sweets and desserts veer away from Iberia, with croissants, doughnuts, brownies and muffins alongside ice cream, tiramisu, fresh fruit salads and apple tatins. Keep an eye out for specially selected Spanish wines, as well as Spanish beers.
