A trattoria-style Italian restaurant and pizzeria, just a couple of minutes from Angel tube station. There's a Mediterranean feel to the room, with exposed brickwork, an open-plan kitchen and images of the homeland adorning the walls. Al fresco seating should prove popular come summertime.
There's an emphasis on authenticity here, with the menu ranging from bruschetta, focaccia and antipasto misto to spaghetti alla carbonara, seafood linguine, vitello alla Milanese and gambero alla diavolo - king prawns cooked in white wine, garlic and chilli, served with rice. A range of pizza - including calzone - do brisk business.
The wine list focuses on bottles from Italy, with whites, reds and rosés alongside a range of prosecco. Keep an eye out for set menus and special offers, too.
