One of six branches in the capital, this Brompton cafè brings bites with an Italian bent to west London. Food here is predominantly priced by weight, with diners invited to help themselves from the counter. Starters include grilled broccolini with chilli and garlic, and baby spinach and goat cheese salad with dried cranberries and nuts. Mains include chicken fricadelle with mushrooms, a mixed vegetable quiche and sweet ginger chilli beef.
Many of the patisserie are on prominent display, with tarts, meringues, pastries, classic desserts and other baked goods visible to passersby. There are 12 coffees and 16 teas to choose from, plus the option to create your own juice, too.
