This Canary Wharf restaurant and bar specialises in rotisserie chicken, paying homage to the French tradition of roasting birds - a practise that goes back to 1248, apparently. The venue boasts an impressive wine cellar - La Cave - with a wide array of French wines focusing on those from Bordeaux.
The food menu isn't restricted to chicken dishes. Starters include deep-fried Camembert and a platter of smoked fish, though a terrine of poultry livers served with gherkins and sourdough brings the bird back into play. Mains range from quarters and halves of rotisserie chicken (served with the venue's 'secret' sauce) to steaks from Aubrey Allen, sea bream with beurre blanc and a vegetable Niçoise lasagne served with risotto.
There's a takeaway option too, as well as local delivery.
