A traditional Italian restaurant in Spitalfields, La Tagliata takes its name from the dish in which it specialises - thinly sliced steak on a bed of parmesan, cherry tomatoes and rocked, served with a balsamic reduction. The restaurant is divided into seven different rooms - the music room, drawing room, cellar, pantry, library and dining room - each hosting up to ten diners.
The menu also features freshly baked breads, tagliatelle starters and a vegetarian alternative to the signature dish, La Scamorza - oven baked mozzarella stuffed with porcini mushrooms, sun-dried tomatoes and truffle paste. There are two desserts, plus a cheeseboard.
