A Bayswater Greek restaurant that's been going for nearly 50 years. It claims to have welcomed the likes of Peter Sellers, Mick Jagger, the Beatles, Dusty Springfield and even Kojak through its doors over the years. And who are we to argue?
Expect traditional Greek cooking, with mezze options (taramasalata, tzatziki, houmous, loukaniko and keftédes) alongside mains of kleftiko, Athenian moussaka and souvlaki kalamaki – pork cubes marinated in lemon and grilled on the charcoal barbecue. The dessert list includes baklava, kataifi and karydopita.
The wine list is all-Greek, and beers are from Mythos (Greece) and Volkan (Santorini). There's a delivery service too, as well as various set menus.
