Time Out says

There’s a lot to like at this wine bar, deli and restaurant in Homerton. It’s from a team that’s passionate about sourcing high-quality produce, combined to create a Med-inspired menu that’s got a few tongues wagging in this part of east London.

It’s easy to see why, with dishes such as gambas pilpil (served with toasted sourdough), authentic tomato bruschetta, and great-looking meat platters alongside ‘nduja gnocchi, pea, fennel and mint risotto, and a burrata salad with basil pesto, tomato, rocket, extra virgin olive oil and toasted pine nuts. All are keenly priced.

The old-world slanted wine list is also impressive, with each bottle available to purchase from the wine shop if you want to take a drop away with you. And if you really like the place? They’ll cater for private events, too.

Make sure you check out the alfresco courtyard (very pretty), and keep an eye out for some excellent events most months, including wine tastings, seasonal menus and all manner of other creative bits and bobs from the clever minds here. Sunday lunches feature in winter, and generous bottomless brunches in the summer, too. A venue for all seasons.

JCJ London says
Our restaurant is an extension of our deli with our delicatessen products, always fresh, authentic ingredients from trusted suppliers.

With our dishes we want you to transport yourself through the flavours to different parts of the World. Interesting, quirky and fine wines & seasonal small and large plates are the focus of our cosy neighbourhood spot with a courtyard in the back.

We change our menu according to the seasons. We love to entertain, therefore every month we host different six courses tasting menus, wine and food pairing or a different theme nights- last one was a Rhubarb Night. We have recently invited few chefs for "Take Over' idea, which ended up being very successful- therefore we are now open to any enquiries!

We also run a Bottomless Brunch on Sunday during Summer and a traditional Sunday Roast during Autumn and Winter time.

We are also open for private hire. We are happy to celebrate birthday parties, corporate bookings or of course Christmas bookings when you can design the menu with the chef according to what sort of style you might like your party to be.

Our small team is always happy to help and maker your visit comfortable and tasty.
