This new Fulham Road restaurant comes from the team behind the Hamgipak down in New Malden - a part of London often called K-Town so bustling is its Korean community. Consequently it's an area synonymous with good-quality Korean restaurants, too.
Those that know the original will see similarities here. Not least on a menu that ranges from beef bulgogi, fried chicken wings in sweet sauce and hot and spicy kimchi stew with pork to rib-eye beef seasoned with sesame oil, chicken casserole with potato in spicy sauce and saeng sun jun - a dish of white fish lightly fried and steamed in a hot and spicy sauce.
The drinks list includes Hite Korean beer and Asahi, as well as one red, one white and makgeoli - a Korean rice wine.
