An authentic Turkish restaurant in Edmonton, Gunaydin offers more than just skewers of meat and fish cooked over hot coals. They are there, though of course - there's even a doner spit turning against the halogen.
It's certainly a step or two above a late-night kebab spot. Pide - a Turkish flatbread - plays a prominent part on the menu, alongside fresh fish dishes, Turkish specialities and slow-cooked meats braised over five to six hours. There's live music every Friday, too.
