This Southgate restaurant and bar specialises in steaks, with sirloins, rib eyes, fillets and T-bones given a hefty lick of heat from the grill. But it's not just cuts of beef here, with the rest of the menu combining dude food favourites, gastro salads and the odd dish of a fine-dining slant.
That means sticky BBQ wings, short ribs, onion rings and mac and cheese alongside pine nut and citrus salads, seafood and a sloe gin liver parfait starter served with red onion and juniper berry relish. A good-looking burger selection also features, with the XO burger looking mighty - two burgers with sweet BBQ sauce, Monterey Jack cheese, a cider battered onion ring and house 'slaw.
Beers and ciders come from Coors, Peroni, Desperados and Rekorderlig. Cocktails include classics such as mojitos, bellinis, cosmopolitans, bloody marys and London mules. All of the wines - bar three pricier bottles of each colour - are available by the glass.
