This self-serve vegetarian restaurant goes completely vegan every Tuesday, when you’ll find international dishes like seitan bourguignon and raw pad thai salad on offer. Brilliantly, the recipes for all dishes served are on its website, should you leave feeling inspired.
Don’t miss: Great though the mains are, it’s the vegan desserts that really impress – try the gooey beetroot and red bean brownies.

Galettes – a French sort-of sandwich made with pancake batter – get a meat-free makeover at this rustic and buzzy Brixton caff. Vegans can take their pick from super-fresh veg fillings, which are stuffed into a specially prepared egg-free base.
Don’t miss: Fancy some food for thought with your food? Have a nose around the adjoining art space, which shows work from budding local talent.

Vietnamese cuisine has plenty to offer those on an animal-free diet, from coconutty tofu curries to refreshing summer rolls stuffed with fresh veg and fragrant herbs. This Kingsland Road favourite runs a BYO policy, too, meaning the bill shouldn’t be too bothersome.
Don’t miss: On a cold winter’s day, a steaming bowl of the veg-packed vermicelli noodle soup will thaw out your frozen bits in no time.

Two Hundred Rye Lane

Peckham could well claim to be the epicentre of vegan London, so it’s no surprise to find plenty of plant-based dishes at this on-trend small plates spot. What's more, cocktails are decently priced at £7ish a pop, and a bottle of house wine is just £15.
Don’t miss: The caramelised aubergine marinated in chilli, garlic and mint. Order an extra plate if you fancy converting a few carnivores.
