It'll come as little surprise to find the focus at this new Herne Hill restaurant and bar is on fish and wine. But that only tells half the story. The menu features meat and veg items too, with culinary influences ranging from Italy, Spain and France all the way to China.
Expect, then, dishes including tagliatelle with crab, chilli and ginger, monkfish wrapped in serrano ham with tapenade crushed potatoes, tomato salsa and courgette ribbons, and crispy smoked shredded chicken with spring onion, garlic, chilli and hoisin.
Desserts include boards of British and Irish cheeses, as well as a lovely sounding dark chocolate pot with crème Chantilly, raspberry coulis and dehydrated strawberry. A good range of wines is available, too.
