It’s all about sunshine Italian flavours at this Great Portland Street restaurant. It’s one of two Faros branches in London, with the other a popular little spot up on the Gray’s Inn Road, Holborn.
The menu will keep those partial to classic Italian cuisine very happy. We’re talking focaccini, camalari fritti and what looks like a superb bruschetta to start, tagliatelli burrata, linguine allo scoglio and sea bass with a lemon butter and caper sauce on the mains. Wood-fired pizzas do a good trade, too.
The wine list features bottles from across the Med, and keep an eye out for their signature cocktails – including a Tiramisu Martini, made with vodka, Baileys, espresso and home-made tiramisu sauce. That’ll perk you up.
