It seems like there's a pretty good marriage of form and function at this coffee and cake shop on Chiswick High Road - the striking, almost-too-pretty-to-eat desserts prove something of a draw for the sweet-toothed of west London.
They really do look the part, with fancy takes on traditional desserts alongside intricate petit fours, colourful macarons and baklawa made by a specialist with more than 60 years expertise - he should know what he's doing by now. Afternoon tea proves popular, too.
It's not all pretty patisserie, though. Coffee does brisk business at breakfast and savoury options include tarts, quiches and good-looking sandwiches such as British beef and gherkin with mustard mayo, or butter-fried chicken with aubergine sauce, parmesan mayo and greens.
Gluten-free and dairy-free items are available, too.
