Bermondsey Vietnamese, Caphe House, has upped sticks and moved north of the river to this Smithfield location. They've changed their name, too - to reflect the dish in which they now specialise.
Expect, then, pho to feature prominently on the menu, with options including chicken, beef, tofu and shitake, prawns and a 'special' pho of prawns, chicken and beef. Bun bo hue - spicy, lemongrass noodle soups - are available, too. The menu also features summer rolls, traditional papaya salads, crispy sea bass in lemongrass, salt and chilli, and com rang - wok-fried rice with chicken and king prawns.
A short drinks list includes Saigon Export, Saigon Special and Hanoi beers, alongside a few bottles of wine from well-known winemaking regions across the world. Smoothies, fresh juices, Vietnamese coffee and herbal teas also feature.
