This cute little café is located in the courtyard of St Martin-in-the-Field church, right by Trafalgar Square. It's open from April through to October each year, and is run by the same people that run Café in the Crypt - the popular subterranean spot downstairs.
Hot and cold drinks are served throughout the day, with many visitors grabbing to go on their way to or from work. Drinks include tea from Teapigs, a selection of coffees, soft drinks from Frobishers and organic options such as lemon, ginger and acai berry, or pomegranate, blueberry and white tea. Alcoholic drops include Peroni, Budvar and London Pride beers, alongside three red wines, three whites and two rosés - six of which are available by the glass.
The food menu ranges from sandwiches, salads and soups to panini, croissants, pastries, cakes, scones and light snacks such as Greek yoghurt with fruit and granola, or a granola pot with blackberries, blueberries and pomegranate.
All proceeds from the café go toward supporting St Martin-in-the-Field.
