It's mostly about the burgers and live music at this Harringay venue, with what looks like a varied range of both on the line up. The design might offer some talking points, too – think classic cartoons projected onto one wall, and a ceiling decorated with crates used to carry apples to WW1 soldiers in France.
The burger selection ranges from a simple house cheeseburger with pickled red onion, ketchup, smoky mayo and a brioche bun to a portobello mushroom burger and a 'belly buster', made with quite a hefty amount of pulled beef brisket. Sides include house 'slaw, chicken wings, mac and cheese and rosemary salted, skin-on fries. Keep an eye out for chef specials, too.
And the live music? Anything from soul and funk to jazz, blues and covers. There's an open mic night too, should you want to dust off your vocals.
