Featuring a selection of meat boxes, wild game and ‘shearing platters’ served with roasted veg, flesh is the order of the day at Bull & Rancher’s stall. These fellas specialise in churrasco barbecue – a Latin American style of slow-cooking meat over a purpose-built grill – but the results are a tad disappointing. The beef silverside in my box (£8) was lukewarm and jaw-achingly chewy, and the pork rib so dry it had a bona-fide sawdust vibe. Luckily, there was some lovely garlicky salsa verde to help things slip down. But it’s all a little too much like hard work.
