On a small street with a big reputation, this crowded, buzzy strip between London Fields and Regent’s Canal is the food-loving hipster’s hangout of choice, where letting your hair down and soaking up the vibe go hand in hand with seeking out some great grub. Although it only operates on Saturdays (9am-5pm), there are well over 100 stalls selling a fabulous array of stuff, including plenty of delectable street food from the likes of Deeney’s (Scottish toasties), Lord of the Wings, Makatcha (Indonesian-Malay classics), OSU Coconuts (coconut pancakes) and Zardosht (two sisters taking a fresh look at Persian food). But that’s just the start: you can also sit down for steak with lashings of red wine at Buen Ayre Argentinian grill, nibble on tempura and teriyaki at Okko, or even slurp some oysters outside Fin + Flounder.
