This Trafalgar Square branch is one of three Bianco43 restaurants in London – the others are in Blackheath and Greenwich. The same team is behind the City's Osteria del Mercato, too. The group's focus is on authentic Italian cuisine.
That focus includes pizzas made with a blend of flours exclusive to the restaurant, sourced from a family-run mill in Italy. Pizzas include margheritas, capricciosas, marinaras, diavolas and calzones, as well as three signature pizzas, including a frutti di mare with king prawns, calamari, mussels and baby octopus.
Outside of the pizzas, expect gnocchi alla sorrentina, ravioli with spinach and ricotta in a butter and sage sauce, bistecca di manzo and filetto di branzino – sea bass fillet served with fresh cherry tomatoes and baked potatoes. A short, all-Italian wine list features Italy's best known winemaking regions.
