Located within Pimlico's boutique hotel Artist Residence, this all-day café-cum-restaurant is open daily from breakfast through dinner. It was once a traditional Victorian pub but has now been given a good-looking spruce up, and the boozer's basement is home to a cocktail bar.
There's a British slant to an adventurous looking food menu. Expect dishes such as queenie scallops with gooseberry ketchup, pear, roasted lin seeds and pea shoots alongside chilled beetroot and buttermilk soup with quail egg, cucumber and dill, rib eye steak with bone marrow butter and smoky cajun chips, and sea trout with cucumber and radish pickles.
A dedicated Sunday menu also features, with Old Spot pork belly, rib of beef and lemon-roasted chicken alongside burgers, asparagus risotto, club sandwiches and a hot-smoked salmon hash.
