For homebuyers, Islington has long been one of London’s most sought-after boroughs. And it isn’t difficult to see why. With its upscale wine bars, fashionable Upper Street restaurants and close-to-central location, this north London enclave been a coveted destination for decades, popular with A-listers and politicians alike. Those looking to buy in the borough should take note: a brand-new housing development is being built on Dalmeny Avenue.

This complex of one, two and three-bedroom luxury apartments will available for occupation from the autumn. The promo images we’ve seen certainly do back up the term ‘luxury’: they show oversized windows casting sunshine into bright, spacious, design-led interiors. The developers promise faultless contemporary style  from the engineered wooden flooring to the high-end appliances to the landscaped spaces outside.

But aesthetics are only half the deal here: just as appealing to buyers will be Dalmeny Avenue’s all-important N7 location, conveniently tucked between Tufnell Park and Holloway Road tube stations. The West End is just over 20 minutes away on the tube; the City little more than half an hour. A short bus ride will take you up to the world-famous market stalls of Camden. You’re not far from the sweeping vistas visible at the top of Hampstead’s Parliament Hill, either.

Looking to move into a new home this autumn? We suggest you keep N7 in mind.
