It’s time to get back in the saddle people, because US cycling phenomenon Peloton has ventured across the pond to kick your exercise up a gear. Haven’t heard of them? Well here’s the low-down.
Climbing in popularity since 2012, Peloton’s tech-infused bikes let starry-eyed cyclists get hot and sweaty from home. With exciting, immersive programmes taught by world-renowned instructors – including 14 classes beamed live each day and 10,000 on-demand – that’s some seriously good spinning.
Now, Peloton has opened a free pop-up in Covent Garden that’s perfect for all you would-be Wiggins’. Running for three weeks, from September 25 until October 13, Peloton House gives you exclusive access to trial the bikes, either in one of their themed rooms (think Black Mirror vibes, but less sinister) or with a friend in the dual area (but be quick – these are first-come, first-served). And when you need a brake (sorry), you can take a refreshing shower and refuel at the bar.
So how can you get in on the pedal-powered action? Easy. Just sign up for the free event at house.onepeloton.com, drop by and hop on.
