In 1977, two weeks after the release of 'God Save The Queen', the Sex Pistols performed a concert on a boat (appropriately named 'The Queen Elizabeth') on the Thames, which was swiftly stopped by the police. This art event by Rachael House marks 35 years since the Pistols’ abortive boat trip. Those attending are invited to make a model boat to float on the lake. Punk coracles, new wave rafts, police launches and Sex Pistols sailing ships are especially welcome. The event includes a performance by the Strawberry Thieves Choir.
