The adventurous choir I Fagiolini directed by Robert Hollingworth sings Tomkins's 'When David heard'; Ward's 'Weep forth your tears'; Milton's 'O woe is me for thee'; Monteverdi's 'Anima mia, perdona'; 'Longe da te, cor mio'; 'Piagne e sospira'; Poulenc's Sept Chansons; Berberian's 'Stripsody'; and Williams's 'Damnalot' ('Faust: The Musical'). (Note: followed at 11.15pm with a free gig in the bar – the pianist Carl Joseph moves from his classical roots through popular song, show tunes and everything in between.)
