The Pearl Fishers

With a backdrop of a shanty town community on an exotic island, Bizet's opera explores love, loss, longing and rejection in a tale of friendship tested by love. This is an update of filmmaker Penny Woolcock's 2010 production, which features soprano Sophie Bevan as Leila.
