Thames Diamond Jubilee Pageant

Leaving from Battersea Bridge and sailing the seven miles to Tower Bridge, 1,000 boats of all shapes and sizes make the 75-minute journey, accompanying Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II in her barge. They are divided into ten groups, each led by a Herald Music Barge, including The Royal Jubilee Bells, The Academy of Ancient Music playing Handel's 'Water Music' and A 'New Water Music' barge featuring an ensemble playing new variations on Handel's original.
