The evening launches, at 7pm, with Silent Opera's 'Lament', a newly devised opera based around the famous story of Ariadne using entirely synthesised sounds and technologies. It is followed, at 7.20pm, by Brian Hosefros's 'The Ant and the Grasshopper', a re-imagining of a classic Russian fable following the lives of the extravagant Strekoza and the dutiful Muravej. At 8.45pm there's 'Zaum: Beyond Mind', a work of sound theatre emerging from a collaboration between two composer/performers, a visual/sonic artist and a director. Events conclude, at 8.50pm, with Llywelyn ap Myrddin's 'The Crocodile', in which a hungry beast wreaks havoc on a high society party in St Petersburg.
