The Canadian group Ensemble Caprice directed by Matthias Maute performs Telemann's Grillen-Symphonie (Symphonie capricieuse); Allegro and Presto from 'Sonata à la gitane in D minor'; Modéré from Quartet No 6, Nouveaux quatuors en six suites; Allegro for Solo Violin; and Double Concerto in E minor for Recorder and Flute TWV52:e1. The programme is interspersed with traditional Gypsy melodies and dances from the anonymous 'Uhrovska Collection' (1730).
