The contest features The Sirocco Saxophone Quartet playing Escaich's Tango Virtuoso; Pierne's Introduction et Variations sur une Rondo Populaire. Then, Trio Arion performs Ries's Trio in B flat, Op 28 (Allegro); and Rota's Trio (Allegrissimo). Recorder quartet I Flautisti the play Meijering's 'Spring Will be Great'; Jannequin's 'La Guerre'; Vivaldi arr Driever Konzert in C (Allegro); and Maute's 'Indian Summer'. (The second semi-final is tomorrow; the third on Fri April 23; the final is Tue April 27.)
