London Sinfonietta invites you to immerse yourself in cutting-edge music from South America and Britain, showcasing Mexico's electroacoustic tradition, marked by the foundation of the National Conservatory of Music's Electronic Music Lab in 1970. Plus, works by British electroacoustic composer Tim Souster. Isambard Khroustaliov's 'Obsolve'; Rodrigo Sigal's 'Sonic Farfalla'; Javier Alvarez's 'Negro Fuego y Curzado'; Duncan MacLeod's 'Diesis' (world premiere); Tim Souster's 'Driftwood Cortege'; 'Spectral'; Adrian Moore's 'Fields of Darkness and Light'; and Natasha Barrett's 'Liquid Crystal'. (Note: at 7pm in St Pancras Room, a pre-concert talk in which Robert Worby is joined by Peter Britton and composer Duncan McLeod. Plus, at 10pm take advantage of the chilled out atmosphere of the Late Lounge. Both free but tickets required.)
