National Youth Chamber Choir of Great Britain.
The NYCGB Chamber Choir under new director Ben Parry, presents a sparkling programme of twentieth and twenty-first century choral works to celebrate the centenary of Benjamin Britten and the launch of a brand new CD of his choral works, performed by all eight choirs of NYCGB.
The programme focuses on Britten's own unaccompanied choral output, including some of his most famous compositions such as 'A Hymn to St Cecilia' and 'AMDG' ('Ad Majorem Dei Gloriam'), as well exploring the rich diversity of works by other British composers, including Michael Tippett, William Walton and James MacMillan.
