Session 4: Theatre of Voices

The Sunday sessions open with vocal music from Paul Hillier's Theatre Of Voices, which performs David Lang's Pulitzer Prize-winning 'Little Match Girl Passion', as well as music by Steve Reich and Roger Marsh. Icelandic composer Johann Johannsson complements the mood, blending electronics and elegiac strings. Steve Reich's 'Proverb' (Theatre of Voices/Amadinda Quartet); Roger Marsh's 'Not a Soul but Ourselves' (Theatre of Voices); and David Lang's 'Little Match Girl Passion' (Theatre of Voices). Plus, Johann Johannsson performs new work with his own ensemble.
