The early music ensemble Poeticall Musicke presents works from the court of Louis XIV, including a selection by François Couperin, Jean-Baptiste Lully and Marin Marais.
(Note: Poeticall Musicke is one of the few ensembles to boast a permanent continuo array of baroque harp, theorbo, harpsichord, viol and lirone, which it uses in different combinations, usually as accompaniment to soprano Rosemary Galton and violinists George Clifford and Rafael Font.)
