A site-specific sound installation that transforms the orchestral experience into an act of exploration. Set within the creaking timbers of the largest surviving eighteenth-century tidal mill, the audience is sent on a journey of discovery. Walking within a live orchestra, each individual navigates their own sonic pathway through the symphony via a series of intimate encounters with musicians. Produced by the New London Orchestra in collaboration with sound artist Thor McIntyre-Burnie and the Newham Youth Orchestra. Dispersed throughout the mill, the orchestra under Ronald Corp performs Beethoven's Symphony No 3 ('Eroica') connected only by video and audio feed.
